Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead on-site deployment of industrial automation across North America stores. You will coordinate with hardware, software, and operations teams to plan, install, and launch complex robotics projects from planning through go-live.

The role requires extensive travel up to 75% and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Relocation to North America may be required; competitive benefits include medical, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years troubleshooting robotics systems or other complex mechanical-electrical or networked systems.
• 5+ years project management experience deploying large-scale robotics deployments or maintenance.
• 5+ years experience with management of BOMs, deployment work instructions, and project tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage deployment of large-scale industrial automation technologies and coordinate installation and testing.
• Own onsite coordination to meet target go-live dates for each project.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, TPMs, product managers, and site teams to convert requirements into deployment documents.
• Improve operational metrics and team processes through automation and optimization.
• Resolve technical problems during deployment considering time, quality, and resources.
• Create and improve standard work documents and guidebooks; seek process automation where possible.
• Influence internal and partner teams to meet team goals.
• Develop subject matter expertise in deployment domains.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical assessments.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives with measurable results.
