Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist in Longwood, FL. This field-based role visits local retailers, educates merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits, and supports in-store branding and signage.

You will document visits, use mobile tools, and collaborate with leadership to meet territory goals. Candidates should have strong communication skills, prior retail or field marketing experience, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• 6 months sales/ promotion/ retail or marketing experience.
• Knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Educate merchants on client products and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-purchase signage in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Travel within territory to meet goals and coverage expectations.
