Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to develop productive relationships with retailers and increase program visibility across your assigned territory in Massachusetts. The role involves visiting local retailers, educating merchants on our client’s financial services and program benefits, and ensuring a strong customer experience in the field.

You will travel within your territory, delivering on-site support, answering questions, placing POP materials, and tracking activity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Six months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit and engage with merchants, educate on client programs and benefits.
• Maintain professional interaction with merchants and employees.
• Place point-of-purchase signage and enhance in-store branding.
• Audit and report competitive products, promotions and displays.
• Travel within territory to major markets and events for launches.
• Record visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
