Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build retailer relationships and increase program visibility in the Detroit area. The role involves visiting merchants, educating them on client financial services, and ensuring a strong customer experience at each location.

This field-based position requires daily travel, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. You will place POS materials, document activity, and work with leadership to meet territory goals and deliver

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Six (6) months sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
