Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build retail partner relationships, increase program visibility, and drive business growth across the territory. Field-based role with daily store visits and close collaboration with leadership to meet territory goals.

You will visit local retailers, educate merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits, provide on-site support, and ensure a strong customer experience at each location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
