Job summary

PromptCare seeks a Respiratory Therapist for home care, facilitating setup of respiratory products and therapeutic equipment for patients at home. This field-based leadership role requires a proactive caregiver and patient advocate, with 24/7 coordination with the department Manager.

The position is non-exempt, full-time (40 hours/week) with Mon-Fri 9:00am–5:30pm and on-call duties, located in Lexington, KY. Prior RT experience and cross-licensure willingness are required.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited Respiratory School.
• Must hold current Respiratory Care Practitioner state licensure and be in good standing.
• RRT certification required; CPR-BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up respiratory therapeutics, diagnostics, high-tech ventilation, oxygen and related equipment for home patients.
• Provide patient and family education and act as patient advocate and representative of PromptCare.
• Coordinate with RT Clinical Liaisons for discharges and ensure timely documentation and compliance with SOPs.
