Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, part of the Healthcare Technology Transformation Group, seeks a Research Physiologist to design and execute large-scale field studies in extreme environments. You will integrate physiology with data science to manage vast datasets and guide DHA-related heat acclimatization efforts.

The role is based in Natick, MA, primarily on-site, with limited telework approved. You will lead teams, develop protocols, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for military operations.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Environmental Physiology is required.
• Experience with environmental extremes and physiological measurements.
• Proficiency with R, SPSS, and MATLAB; SAS and Excel also relevant.
• Experience with wearable sensors and real-time data collection.

Responsibilities

• Real-time data collection using wearable sensors.
• Lead data streaming and management of large datasets.
• Design research protocols for heat, cold, and high altitude environments.
• Collect, manage, and analyze large physiological datasets from multiple sources.
• Coordinate field studies at military installations.
• Prepare technical reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
