Job summary

Goldbelt Apex is seeking an experienced Research Psychologist (Health Services & Population Research) to support the Defense Health Agency's Psychological Health Center of Excellence. This role provides scientific expertise to improve delivery of psychological health services across the Military Health System.

The successful candidate will conduct research on healthcare utilization, access to care, treatment outcomes, and population health trends, working with government stakeholders,

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of health services research and behavioral health methodologies.
• Experience conducting health services or population health research.
• Experience designing and executing research studies using scientific methods.
• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with clinicians, statisticians, epidemiologists, and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health services and population health research supporting PHCoE.
• Design, execute, and evaluate health research studies using quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Analyze healthcare utilization, patient outcomes, and behavioral health trends.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop research protocols and evaluation plans.
• Prepare scientific manuscripts, technical reports, and executive briefings.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations to improve healthcare delivery.
