Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, LLC, based in Natick, MA, seeks a Research Physiologist to design and execute large-scale field studies in environmental extremes. You will lead DHA-focused efforts and integrate physiology with data science to interpret vast datasets collected in operational settings.

The role is primarily on-site in Natick, MA, with occasional telework approved. Requires PhD in Environmental Physiology and strong skills in data analysis, wearable sensors, and real-time data collection.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Environmental Physiology and subject matter expertise in physiological responses to heat, cold, and high terrestrial altitude.
• Experience designing and developing research protocols involving environmental extremes.
• Experience with wearable physiological sensors and real-time physiological data collection.
• Ability to coordinate and lead field studies at military installations.

Responsibilities

• Real-time data collection using wearable sensors.
• Data streaming coordination including information management rights and large data sets.
• Designs and leads research protocols evaluating physiological responses to extreme environments.
• Collects, manages, and analyzes large physiological datasets from lab, field, and wearable studies.
• Coordinates and leads field research teams at military installations.
• Develops technical reports, manuscripts, presentations, and research documentation.
