Job summary

Eclipse Advantage is hiring for a warehouse associate in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities include identifying compliant and non-compliant freight, capturing damage photos, staging loads, and operating material handling equipment. Training for RF scanners and safety procedures is provided.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and readiness for overtime during peak seasons. A reliable means of transportation and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen are

Qualifications

• 6 months warehouse experience preferred (willing to train)
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Overtime/weekends required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Reliable transportation with on-time arrival
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Safety shoes required
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Identify compliant and non-compliant freight compared to standard supplied
• Capture pictures of damage, shifted load, and paperwork with tablet (provided)
• Move pallets and cases to stage for photo capture of non-compliant loads
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Assist fellow IA’s during unloading process
• Read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Operate warehouse machinery per customer SOPs
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area

Job Description:

• Identify compliant and non-compliant freight compared to standard supplied
• Ability to use technology required for EAC+ (tablet, smart phone, and laptop)
• Capture pictures of damage, shifted load, and paperwork with tablet (provided)
• Move pallets and cases to stage for photo capture of non- compliant loads
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Assist fellow IA’s during the unloading process
• Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg.bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $15.00 per hour

Job Requirements:

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)

• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ieelectric pallet jack)
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned
