Job summary

Eclipse Advantage in Exton, PA is hiring a warehouse professional to unload, sort, and package freight, operate material handling equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

You will read packing lists, scan items with RF devices, and help meet seasonal demand. Training provided; overtime and weekend shifts may be required; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 6 months warehouse experience preferred (training may be provided).
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Overtime/weekends required during peak seasons.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Unload and break down freight from trucks, trailers, etc.
• Sort, organize, and repack freight as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment per SOPs.
• Read packing lists and scan items for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.

Job Description:

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg.trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Identify unusable pallets
• Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyer belt
• Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg.bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

Pay Range:

$21.50 -$21.50

Job Requirements:

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned
