Job summary

U‑Haul is seeking a Field Relief Manager to cover General Managers on leave across centers in your area, enforcing policies, inventory practices, and delivering consistent customer service. You will participate in ongoing training through U‑Haul University and hire/educate new team members to maintain store standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of retail management experience with P&L accountability, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or service with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction.
• Previous management in high-volume retail with profit and loss accountability.
• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Computer proficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for General Managers on leave by enforcing policies and inventory practices.
• Review implementation and assist at centers to stay apprised of programs.
• Participate in ongoing U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
• Hire and educate new team members.
