Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on reimbursement and access for specialty medications. Travel within a designated territory (GA, NC, SC) is expected almost weekly, with potential overnight stays. A strong background in pharmacy benefits, prior authorizations, and appeals supports patient access and outcomes.

High school diploma required; bachelor’s preferred. PACS certification should be obtained within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Willingness to obtain PACS certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider offices on access and reimbursement topics.
• Resolve reimbursement and coverage challenges to support patient access.
• Educate on payer policies including coding, billing, formulary, prior authorization and appeals.
• Travel weekly within a designated territory, with potential overnight stays.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement teams as needed.
