Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers and staff on reimbursement and access issues for specialty medications. The role requires frequent travel within a defined territory and close collaboration with payers, pharmacies, and clinicians to resolve coverage barriers.

The ideal candidate has experience in pharmacy benefit reimbursement, prior authorizations, appeals, and a willingness to obtain PACS certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Experience in education of providers on reimbursement and access topics.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy benefits and coverage issues.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time within a designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers and staff on insurance issues relevant to products.
• Support patient access by resolving reimbursement and coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement services to support access to therapies.
• Deliver educational presentations at provider sites.
