Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate healthcare providers on access and reimbursement for specialty medications. The role involves travel within a defined territory to support patient access and resolve coverage barriers.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits, prior authorization, coding, and appeals, plus experience in revenue cycle and cross-functional collaboration. A Bachelor’s degree or relevant practice management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Previous Field Reimbursement Manager/Specialist experience preferred.
• Experience resolving pharmacy benefit access issues in healthcare.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• PACS certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff on access and reimbursement topics using client-approved resources.
• Support patient access by resolving reimbursement and coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with client’s reimbursement and patient assistance services.
