Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on reimbursement and access considerations for specialty medications. This role serves as a liaison among providers, pharmacies, payers, and manufacturers to navigate coverage challenges.

The position requires extensive travel within a territory including KY, VA, DC, and TN, with direct engagement to ensure patient access to products. A PACS certification is encouraged within six months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Previous experience as Field Reimbursement Manager/Specialist preferred.
• Previous experience working in healthcare directly resolving pharmacy benefit access issues.
• Experience with extensive travel.
• Willing to obtain a PACS certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers and their staff on access and reimbursement topics.
• Support patient access by resolving reimbursement and coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement services.
