Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to support access to specialty medications by educating providers and staff on reimbursement processes. The role requires travel up to 80% within a territory including Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Qualifications

• Must live within commuting distance of a major airport and travel up to 80% within a territory.
• Experience in reimbursement and access for specialty medications.
• Prior authorization, appeals, and billing knowledge.
• Willing to obtain PACS certification within six months.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers and staff on access and reimbursement topics.
• Support patient access by resolving reimbursement challenges.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement services.
• Travel weekly within assigned territory.
• Deliver educational presentations at provider sites.
• Navigate payer policies and coding/billing considerations.
