Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support reimbursement and patient services within a designated territory. You will educate physician offices on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and claims processes through remote and on-site training, building strong relationships with providers and manufacturer reps.

The role requires a 4-year degree and 4+ years of reimbursement experience, with Medicare and commercial coverage knowledge.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience.
• Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
• Experience in insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or claim adjudication.
• Must have Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience.
• Must deliver and document benefit investigation outcomes and relay status reports regularly.
• Strong computer literacy including PowerPoint and Web Meeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and on-demand education for reimbursement challenges and services.
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, Medicare and Commercial coverage.
• Manage reimbursement support on case management, billing and coding updates, and claims submission.
• Collaborate with case managers on escalations and coordinate with hub staff.
• Monitor program performance and report in FRM CRM dashboard.
