Job summary

Pfizer North America in Boston seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to act as the reimbursement expert for the region, ensuring patient access to Pfizer products by addressing coverage and payer questions.

The role conducts live and virtual education for HCPs on payer policies, coordinates with HUB programs, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to navigate prior authorizations and formulary changes. Travel up to 50% is required for live customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years pharmaceutical industry experience typically within the fields of pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• Reimbursement and Access experience is a plus.
• B.S. or B.A. degree is required.
• Experience demonstrating exceptional communication and presentation skills, strategic planning, and successful plan implementation.
• Must reside in territory boundaries.
• Travel requirement: 50% for live customer interactions.
• Valid US driver’s license and a driving record in compliance with company standards.
• Preferred certification in coding and reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct office calls with HCPs and office staff to enable patient access.
• Provide in-person and virtual education on payer landscape and coverage updates.
• Distribute Pfizer RC-approved materials related to coverage and patient support.
• Provide education on Hub financial assistance and enrollment processes.
• Coordinate with HUB and Pfizer patient access programs to meet payer requirements.
• Address questions about prescription status of patients in access programs.
• Compliantly use Pfizer’s designated case notes system.
• Serve as subject matter expert on reimbursement and share insights with leadership.
• Build trust through follow-up and knowledge of the access journey.
