Job summary

Valeris seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to help remove patient access barriers by educating provider offices on billing and coding for our products. You will work with HUB, payers, and office staff to resolve reimbursement issues and support prior authorizations.

You will travel up to 10% and operate across multiple states, partnering with Sales, Managed Markets, and provider networks to optimize patient access to therapies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Pharma/Healthcare industry; working with specialty products, hubs, payers or related area.
• Direct experience with specialty dermatology products (preferred).
• Must have payer policy knowledge including public and private payers and prior authorization requirements.
• Experience with virtual and field reimbursement support and education.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid structures and reimbursement processes.

Responsibilities

• Resolve patient access issues across Hub, provider offices and client field team collaboration.
• Educate HCP offices on patient support programs and payer rules.
• Lead onsite education of program business rules and payer coverage including J-codes.
• Assist providers with prior authorization and appeals processes and required documentation.
• Coordinate with patient support and reimbursement program staff on cases and issue resolution.
• Monitor payer trends and communicate issues to Sales and Managed Markets.
