Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to serve as a local expert on patient access and payer strategies. You will engage HCP offices, address reimbursement questions for Duopa, Vyalev and Juvmo, and guide providers through coverage and submission processes within your territory.

You will educate on payer policies, coordinate with the access center, and maintain strong relationships with clinicians while staying current on national and regional payer dynamics.

Qualifications

• Experience in Managed Health Care, payer relations and reimbursement services.
• Understanding of payer policy processes, coding and payment for specialty medicines.
• Ability to communicate technical billing requirements across settings.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs and reimbursement tools.
• Educate on product acquisition and access options including networks and distribution.
• Educate on resources to address access issues.
• Provide local payer policy expertise to educate providers on payer issues and coding.
• Coordinate with Access and Reimbursement support center on Rx status and eligibility.
• Report payer trends to Patient Services and MHC teams.
• Establish and maintain provider relationships within territory.
• Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities.
