Job summary

AbbVie Inc. seeks a field-based Parkinson’s Field Reimbursement Manager to cover designated geography, primarily Denver, CO. You will address HCP questions on patient access, educate on payer processes, and support AbbVie's reimbursement tools and services.

You will work with local providers, stay current on payer policies, and coordinate with the access center to monitor Rx status and program eligibility. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in reimbursement are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement.
• Strong understanding of rules, regulations and risks of reimbursement support services.
• Understanding of payer policy processes, systems and requirements for coverage, coding and payment.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs and reimbursement tools.
• Educate on acquisition and access options like specialty pharmacy networks.
• Provide local expertise on payer policies and reimbursement dynamics.
• Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement center to update HCPs on Rx status.
• Report payer trends to Patient Services and MHC account teams.
• Establish and maintain relationships with providers within territory.
• Stay current on managed care, reimbursement and policy activities.
