Job summary

Valeris, a life sciences commercialization partner, seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to remove barriers to patient access by educating HCP offices on billing, coding, and Prior Authorization across multiple states. This field-based role collaborates with sales, HUB, and managed markets to support reimbursement strategies.

You will travel up to 10% nationally, work with HUB and third-party vendors, and ensure compliant practices while guiding providers through claims processes and payer

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or equivalent market experience.
• 3+ years in pharma/healthcare with specialty products.
• Experience with payer policies and reimbursement processes.
• Experience with virtual and field-based reimbursement education.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex patient access issues by working across the HUB, provider offices and communicating with client field team.
• Lead reimbursement support strategies with Sales, Payer Teams, Marketing, HCPs, and Specialty Pharmacies to increase patient access.
• Educate HCP and Office Staff on Patient Support Programs and payer rules.
• On occasion, lead onsite education of program rules and payer coverage including J-codes and reimbursements.
• Guide providers through prior authorization and appeals with required documentation and payer requirements.
• Manage daily activities to ensure patient access across sites of care and support HUB services.
• Review billing and coding to resolve reimbursement issues and educate to avoid hurdles.
• Coordinate with patient support representatives on cases and claim issues.
