Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to lead education, assistance, and issue resolution with healthcare providers for patient access to Janssen therapies in the Los Angeles region (LA, Pasadena, Anaheim, Long Beach). The role requires substantial on-site engagement and a strong reimbursement background.

You will collaborate with PECS and other internal teams to optimize payer policies, coding, and patient support, while traveling up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account management and/or reimbursement experience in the provider office setting.
• Experience with pharmacy and medical buy & bill, coding, billing, prior authorizations.
• Knowledge of payer policies and hospital/provider dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements of payer organizations.
• Collaborate with field support team members and serve as access, fulfillment, and reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Lead compliant access and fulfillment discussions with field support team members.
• Utilize data and account management skills to address access barriers.
• Address critical access and affordability issues for patients with urgency and accountability.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand current policies and changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support, education and problem-solving.
• Build strong relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Grow knowledge of payer dynamics and distribution channels to improve patient support.
