Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager for the Philadelphia, PA territory, including nearby regions. This role focuses on patient access, affordability, and education for J&J therapies.

The position requires deep knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefits, strong communication, and travel across the territory. Travel up to 75% is expected with a commitment to ethical, patient-centered support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration required; MBA/MPH preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account Management and/or Reimbursement experience in provider office or related setting.
• Reimbursement or managed care experience (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals).
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
• Problem-solving ability to navigate access scenarios and identify solutions efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, and coding requirements.
• Collaborate with field support team members and act as access, fulfillment, and reimbursement expert for local team.
• Lead compliant access and fulfillment discussions with field support team members.
• Use data and account management skills to address access barriers proactively.
• Address critical access and affordability issues for patients with urgency and accountability.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand policies and changes.
