Job summary

Cencora in the United States is seeking Field Reimbursement Specialists to educate provider offices on access and reimbursement topics within a defined territory, helping patients gain access to life-changing therapies.

FRSs will travel weekly across New York, Boston, and Hartford regions, conducting presentations, supporting buy-and-bill processes, and collaborating with reimbursement support services to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct field-based reimbursement and access support.
• Understand dynamics of Specialty Pharmacy vs. Specialty Distribution.
• Knowledge of physician buy-and-bill vs. assignment of benefits to alternate sites of care.
• Experience with revenue cycle, buy-and-bill (including J-code), formulary, prior authorization, coding, and appeals.
• Deep understanding of medical and pharmacy benefits/policies.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff on logistics to support client product.
• Educate on payers' coverage management strategies (coding, billing, formulary).
• Probe to understand office processes and root causes of access or reimbursement issues.
• Deliver interactive educational presentations at provider sites of service.
• Provide information on reimbursement topics based on client approval.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
