Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate and support provider offices across a defined U.S. territory. The role involves extensive travel up to 80%, including overnight trips, to facilitate patient access to life-changing therapies.

You will educate on buy-and-bill concepts, payer coverage strategies, and reimbursement workflows, while collaborating with patient assistance teams to resolve access issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in education and consultation on reimbursement strategies.
• Understanding of payer policies, coding, billing and prior authorization processes.
• Wamiliarity with buy-and-bill and revenue cycle concepts.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff and practice managers on logistics for in-office administration and coverage changes.
• Educate on payers’ coverage management strategies including coding, billing, formulary, prior authorization, and appeals.
• Probe to understand office processes and root causes of access or reimbursement issues.
• Deliver interactive educational presentations at provider sites of service.
• Provide up-to-date information on reimbursement topics based on client approvals.
