Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on pharmacy reimbursement and access issues, helping patients access specialty medications across a designated territory. This role requires travel up to 80% and a willingness to visit healthcare offices within the territory, including Florida.

The FRS collaborates with payers, providers, and client teams to resolve coverage barriers, support prior authorizations, and ensure accurate coding and billing practices while

Qualifications

• Education on access and reimbursement topics for provider staff.
• Experience with pharmacy benefit reimbursement, prior authorizations, appeals.
• Knowledge of payer policy changes and coverage management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff on insurance issues for the client's product.
• Inform staff about payer coverage management, coding, billing, formulary, prior authorization, and appeals.
• Assess office processes to identify root causes of access or reimbursement issues.
• Deliver presentations at provider sites regarding reimbursement topics.
