Job summary

Cencora seeks a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on insurance access and navigate reimbursement challenges to help patients obtain medications. This role requires frequent travel within a broad territory and deep knowledge of pharmacy benefits, prior authorizations, and appeals.

You will collaborate with payer teams and patient assistance programs, supporting access while pursuing PACS certification within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Previous experience as Field Reimbursement Manager/Specialist preferred.
• Previous experience working in healthcare directly resolving pharmacy benefit access issues.
• Experience with extensive travel.
• Candidates must be willing to obtain a PACS certification within the first six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff on access and reimbursement topics using client-approved resources.
• Support patient access by resolving reimbursement and coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with client and payer-based reimbursement support services.
• Educate providers on insurance issues and payer policy changes within assigned territories.
• Deliver interactive educational presentations at provider sites of service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
