Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on access and reimbursement for specialty medications and to address coverage barriers. This role requires travel and close collaboration with payers, pharmacies, and manufacturers to ensure patient access.

Ideal candidates have PBM knowledge, prior authorizations experience, and a willingness to travel within a broad territory. High school diploma or better is required, with a preference for a related bachelor’s degree or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Experience resolving pharmacy benefit access issues required.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within designated territory.
• Experience in reimbursement education for providers and staff.
• Prior authorization and coding/claims familiarity is essential.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff on access and reimbursement topics using client-approved resources.
• Resolve reimbursement and coverage challenges to support patient access to products.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement support services.
• Deliver interactive educational presentations at provider sites of service.
• Travel weekly within the assigned territory to healthcare offices.
