Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on reimbursement and access for specialty medications. The role emphasizes resolving coverage barriers and partnering with payer and provider teams to enhance patient access.

Travel is required within a designated territory. Candidates should have pharmacy benefit experience, be willing to obtain PACS certification within six months, and be able to work with cross-functional teams to optimize reimbursement processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Candidates must be willing to obtain PACS certification within six months.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers and their staff on insurance issues and coverage changes within assigned territories.
• Assist patient access by resolving reimbursement and coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement support services.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support and education for key accounts.
• Travel weekly to healthcare offices within the territory and provide education.
