Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate provider offices on insurance, reimbursement, and access considerations for specialty medications.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of pharmacy benefits and applicant support to remove barriers to patient access. You will travel weekly across a territory that includes Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, addressing payer policies, coding, and prior authorization processes while coordinating with reimbursement teams

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Wamiliarity with PACS certification is a plus and willingness to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff on access and reimbursement topics using client-approved resources.
• Support appropriate patient access by resolving reimbursement and coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with client’s patient assistance and reimbursement services.
• Travel weekly within a designated territory, including potential overnight stays, to healthcare offices.
