Job summary

Ohio Department of Public Safety – Bureau of Motor Vehicles/Field Service District 4 is seeking a Deputy Registrar Field Representative in Findlay. The role requires daily travel to assigned agencies using a State vehicle, with full-time hours 8:00 a.m.

– 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. The position oversees deputy registrar offices in the assigned counties, performs onsite visits, reviews revenue reports, and ensures open/close procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• 2 yrs. exp. in position involved in reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness &/or compliance with reporting guidelines, laws & rules;
• AND 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in operation of computer hardware, software & peripheral equipment;
• AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in typing or word processing; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite visitation & complete periodic & special assignments necessary to oversee, monitor & evaluate & provide training, technical assistance & direction to contractual personnel in assigned deputy registrar agencies.
• In assigned territory, oversee, monitor & evaluate assigned deputy registrar agencies by conducting onsite visitations.
• Check revenue & document disposition by reviewing end of day reports.
• Complete early &/or late visits to ensure agency open &/or close procedures are observed.
• Verify & remove items for return to Bureau of Motor Vehicles’ warehouse to keep deputy registrar agency free of salvage plates, obsolete items, & returned items for credit.
