Job summary

Amazon is seeking an engineer to support grocery expansion across the North American market, delivering maintenance, repair and vendor management operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of technical program management experience.
• Experience managing multiple programs/projects with cross-functional impact.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and equipment (compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, controllers, piping).
• Knowledge of mechanical room infrastructure (chillers, cooler units, fan controls).

Responsibilities

• Provide field support for refrigeration sites across assigned geography including operations, field maintenance, and food safety partners.
• Manage multiple complex projects and tasks and influence relationships across the organization.
• Oversee maintenance acceptance of part of commissioning large-scale projects.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to facilities maintenance leadership and operations teams.
• Contribute to design reviews and guide equipment standardization to leverage scale and cost savings.
• Travel domestically up to 50%.
• Understand refrigeration systems, troubleshooting, design, and repair.
• Familiarity with low-GWP refrigerants and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
