Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC - A57 is seeking a technical program manager with a background in refrigeration systems to join our field operations. You will provide field support for refrigeration sites, manage multiple programs, and lead cross-functional teams across North America.

The role requires 3+ years in technical program management, a Bachelor's in engineering, and the ability to travel up to 50% to support projects and ensure accurate design and maintenance standards across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of technical program management experience
• Experience in managing multiple programs / projects, using effective time management skills and personal impact to drive complex activities across the organization.
• Knowledge of Refrigeration systems and associated equipment, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, controllers, and piping.
• Knowledge of generic mechanical room infrastructure such as chillers, cooler units, and fan controls

Responsibilities

• Provide field support for refrigeration sites across assigned geography.
• Manage multiple complex projects and tasks and influence relationships at all levels.
• Oversee the maintenance acceptance of part of commissioning large-scale projects.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to facilities maintenance leadership and operations teams.
• Be involved in design review process across the North American market while providing guidance on equipment standardization procurement to leverage scale.
• Travel domestically up to 50%.
• Understanding of refrigeration systems, troubleshooting, design, and repair.
• Familiarity with low-GWP refrigerants, pending regulatory requirements, and design changes.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
