Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking an hourly Recruiting Specialist to manage the end-to-end hourly hiring process from sourcing to job offers. You will implement staffing strategies to attract candidates and position Wayne Farms as an employer of choice in the poultry industry.

Responsibilities include screening, interviewing, offer initiation in Workday, background checks, and maintaining accurate ATS records. You will engage with communities, colleges, and job fairs to build Wayne Farms as a preferred

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in staffing and recruiting, with high-volume hourly recruitment.
• Experience with EEO compliance and staffing agency recruiting preferred.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Self-starter with initiative in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting from sourcing to offer, coordinating interviews with production leadership.
• Oversee Job Preview for hourly candidates ensuring understanding.
• Initiate offers and ensure Workday letters are signed and filed.
• Conduct post-offer background screening and coordinate start dates.
• Collaborate on job bids, interview processes, and offer letters.
• Maintain applicant tracking in Workday and keep records current.
• Post and optimize job postings to reflect duties and grade.
• Generate recruiting metrics reports and share with stakeholders.
• Represent Wayne Farms at recruiting events and build community relationships.
• Support salaried openings when needed.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Enforce safety and PPE policies as required.
• Additional duties as assigned.
