Job summary

WHIZZ is building a fast, rider-centric delivery ecosystem with high-speed electric bikes for drivers across New York. We are hiring a Field Recovery Agent to recover bikes, engage debtors, and coordinate with internal teams using CRM, Google Sheets, and Notion.

The role requires travel across New York state, strong communication, and a background in security or related fields. The position is a 1099 contract with pay at $20 per hour plus per-recovery bonuses and gas/toll reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in security, police, army, or related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Driver's license and own vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct round trips to collect and retrieve e-bikes/mopeds from debtors.
• Communicate with debtors regarding outstanding balances and e-bike collections.
• Use CRM, Google Sheets/Excel, and Notion to manage tasks.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Communicate with law enforcement and delinquent customers.
• Travel across New York state and nearby cities for day trips.
• Adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment.
• Demonstrate strong multitasking and interpersonal skills.
• Car ownership and willingness to use it for the job.
• Former or retired law enforcement experience strongly preferred.

We are currently looking for a Field Recovery Agent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct round trips to collect and retrieve electric bicycles, mopeds from debtors.
• Confidently communicate with debtors regarding outstanding balances and e‑bike collections.
• Manage tasks using CRM, Google Sheets/Excel, and Notion software.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by other departments.
• Ability to effectively communicate with law enforcement and delinquent customers.
• Willingness to work in various parts of New York, travel within the state and other cities for day trips.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
• 1 years of experience in security, police, army, or a related field.
• Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, organization, and interpersonal abilities.
• Car ownership (preferably a bigger car to move bikes) and willingness to use it for the job.
• Former or retired law enforcement experience is strongly preferred.
