Job summary

Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. seeks a Machine Operator 1 for field-based work operating and maintaining railway maintenance equipment across multiple platforms. You will support on-track operations and travel as required, with emphasis on safety and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years demonstrated technical skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems or machine operation.
• Ability to learn and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Prior experience with Loram equipment or similar field-based heavy machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair Loram railway maintenance equipment.
• Record parts usage and complete daily field reporting.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in job briefings.
