Job summary

Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator 1 to operate on-track maintenance equipment in a field-based role. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs, while ensuring safety procedures and reporting requirements are met.

The position requires experience with heavy equipment, valid driver’s license, and the ability to complete required pre-employment assessments. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years demonstrated technical skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and machine operations.
• 1+ year experience with Loram equipment or equivalent in a 24/7 environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment checks (drug/alcohol, background).

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive and appropriate job briefings during operations and maintenance shifts.
• Operate, inspect, maintain and repair on-track equipment as directed by supervision.
• Document daily field reporting, expense reporting, lodging, and other routine admin tasks.
