About this Role – Radio Technician

We are looking for a talented Radio Technician who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for performing the installation, maintenance and repair of communications equipment and systems, and any additional associated infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Install, configure, test, and maintain communication systems on job sites.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain Digital Radios, GPS, Cameras, and ELD devices.
• Perform diagnostics tests on communication equipment and systems.
• Document and report accurate services records.
• Communicate with project managers to ensure that projects remain on schedule and services are completed in a timely fashion.
• Provide support to all end users in the field to ensure communication lines are active throughout project progress.

What You’ll Bring

• High school graduate (Education beyond high school preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in radio technology installation and service and/or 1-3 years of automotive wiring experience.
• Basic understanding of 12‑ & 24‑volt systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs.
• Ability to travel greater than 50% of the time.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to communicate with employees and vendors and exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, construction safety practices, and blueprints.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
