M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Radio Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of communications equipment on job sites.

This role includes configuring radios, GPS, cameras, and ELD devices, with a focus on reliable field operations and timely service records. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in radio tech or automotive wiring, basic 12/24V knowledge, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to travel over 50%.

Qualifications

• High school graduate (Education beyond high school preferred).
• 1-3 years of radio technology installation and service or 1-3 years of automotive wiring.
• Basic understanding of 12- & 24-volt systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel greater than 50% of the time.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, construction safety practices, and blueprints.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

About this Role - Radio Technician

We are looking for a talented Radio Technician who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for performing the installation, maintenance and repair of communications equipment and systems, and any additional associated infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure, test, and maintain communication systems on job sites
• Install, configure, test, and maintain Digital Radios, GPS, Cameras, and ELD devices
• Perform diagnostics tests on communication equipment and systems
• Document and report accurate services records
• Communicate with project managers to ensure that projects remain on schedule and services are completed in a timely fashion
• Provide support to all end users in the field to ensure communication lines are active throughout project progress

What You'll Bring
