Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a project, from ITP upkeep to NCR handling. You will witness tests, write daily QC reports, and ensure audit-ready documentation, reporting to a senior manager.

The role advances your field inspection skills toward management, with sponsorship for required certifications and potential progression to higher QC roles. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and translate to a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and able to address NCRs with the engineer of record.

Responsibilities

• Witness and schedule field and lab tests per ITP and frequency log.
• Write daily QC reports and meeting records (three-phase process).
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with supervision and engineer.
• Maintain submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
