Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project under a senior manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and write the daily QC report while handling NCRs until resolution.

You will advance from field inspector to manager, coordinating certifications and documentation, and traveling to project sites as required to support quality goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify certifications of technicians.
• Write the daily quality control report and keep NCRs open, tracked, and closed with the superintendent and engineer of record.
• Audit-ready submittal, mix design, and material certification files.
