Job summary
Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Field Quality Manager to lead field quality initiatives for commercial HVAC products and services. This field-based role requires travel across the West region, Midwest, and potential Canada, coordinating with customers, contractors, and engineering to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
The role emphasizes quality leadership, data-driven decision making, and strong communication with customers and internal teams to improve equipment reliability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years HVAC industry experience.
- 3+ years in quality, reliability, service operations, or field leadership.
- Strong customer-facing abilities and ability to read engineering drawings.
- ASQ certification and Six Sigma belt preferred.
Responsibilities
- Field issue identification and resolution; escalate significant customer quality concerns.
- Perform root-cause analysis using A3, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA methodologies.
- Warranty and reliability management; analyze data and identify trends to reduce costs.
- Lead field quality programs and maintain standards across service branches and project teams.
- Continuous improvement; develop lessons learned and train technicians and service managers.
- Engage with customers; present corrective action plans and quality improvement initiatives.
