Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Field Quality Coordinator to support field QA/QC activities on solar, BESS, and high voltage projects. You will assist the Quality Manager, Project Manager, and Lead Superintendent in implementing quality policies and tracking corrective actions.

The role requires OSHA 10-hour, First Aid/CPR, SWPPP training, and experience with reading IFC drawings and project specifications. Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office is expected; outdoor work in varied weather conditions

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of construction QA/QC experience on large commercial, multi-disciplined, industrial, utility, civil, highway/road, high voltage electrical, solar, or wind energy projects.
• Experience in SWPPP and erosion control preferred.
• Auditing experience and working knowledge of ISO Quality standards preferred.
• Mandatory OSHA 10-hour, First Aid, CPR, SWPPP Training.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply IFC drawings and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Manager, Project Manager, and Lead Superintendent in addressing field QA/QC Inspector needs.
• Promote quality achievement and performance improvement on the project.
• Assist in managing audit, inspection, surveillance, and testing activities per the project quality program.
• Help manage the Quality program for solar energy projects, including roads, foundations, HV electrical works, substations, and solar arrays.
• Maintain knowledge of all project plans, specifications, and drawings; review and maintain quality records.
• Assist in investigating non-conformance and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide quality training for project team members including subcontractors.
