Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Field Quality Coordinator to oversee QA/QC activities on solar, battery storage, and high voltage projects across North America. You will support the Quality Manager, assist inspectors, and drive adherence to quality policies on site.

This outdoor role requires strong communication, reading of IFC drawings and specifications, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors. OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, SWPPP training, and ISO quality awareness are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of construction QA/QC experience on large commercial, multi-disciplined, industrial, utility, civil, highway/road, solar or wind energy projects.
• Experience in SWPPP and erosion control preferred.
• ISO quality standards knowledge preferred.
• MS Project and MS Office proficiency required.
• OSHA 10-hour, First Aid, CPR, SWPPP training mandatory; ASQ or other quality cert preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather and environments.

Responsibilities

• Promote quality policies and procedures on site and represent the company with clients and subcontractors.
• Support the Quality Manager, Project Manager, and Lead Superintendent in field QA/QC activities.
• Assist in assessing quality of work and tracking corrective actions per quality program.
• Promote quality achievement and continuous improvement on the project.
• Assist in auditing, inspection, surveillance, and testing as per project quality program.
• Help manage the quality program for solar, HV, and related infrastructure projects.
• Maintain project quality records and documentation.
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Provide quality training for project team members and subcontractors.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with Quality Policies and Procedures.
