Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related technical field required.
• 6+ years of experience in product or manufacturing quality required, with leadership in corrective action to closure for at least 2 years.
• Experience in consumer products, appliances, or high-volume durable goods preferred.
• Experience with warranty, returns, or field failure data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the field quality data across Lasko brands and set thresholds for investigations.
• Lead cross-functional investigations to closure with assigned owners and dates.
• Chair CAPA review and ensure open items meet committed dates.
• Apply structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5-Why, fishbone, fault tree, DMAIC, A3).
• Recommend containment actions (stop ship, hold, rework, retailer notification) with evidence.
• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions against post-implementation data.
• Escalate product safety or regulatory issues immediately.
• Provide field failure data to design and supplier quality for DFMEA and PFMEA.
