Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Field Quality Engineer to lead customer and field quality activities across multiple equipment platforms. The role focuses on improving customer experience by analyzing feedback, coordinating with Product Technical Support, Field Teams, and customers to define fixes, and developing a clear project pipeline for quality improvements.

The position reports to the Customer Product Quality Manager and is based in York, PA, with travel up to 50% as needed to support field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management or related discipline.
• 5+ years of quality experience in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead field quality activities and report outcomes for each platform.
• Coordinate with Product Tech Support, Field Teams, and customers to define improvements.
• Develop a defined project pipeline to deliver quality enhancements.
• Provide data-driven analysis to quantify benefits of quality improvements.
• Support supplier and reliability quality improvements within existing processes.
