Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Quality Assurance professional to support federal construction programs. The role develops and maintains the QASP per FAR/CQM, conducts daily inspections, and coordinates QA with field teams and contractors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QASP in compliance with FAR and CQM requirements.
• Perform daily quality inspections and document progress.
• Oversee QA meetings with construction contractor and subcontractors.
• Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and materials.
• Coordinate with field supervisors, project managers, and government reps to address non-conformances.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation including NCRs and logs.
• Collaborate with safety and project controls to ensure QA/safety/schedule alignment.
• Verify testing/inspection by qualified personnel and labs.
• Participate in project meetings, audits, and final inspections.
• Identify quality trends and process improvements.
