Job summary

Conti Federal Services seeks a seasoned Quality Control Manager for civil/structural construction on federal projects at Ellsworth AFB, SD. The role focuses on daily QC reporting, subcontractor coordination, and submittal management to ensure conformance with contract requirements.

You will champion continuous process improvement, oversee QA/QC plans, and drive defect prevention across the project lifecycle. Travel is required, with rotations as part of the project pattern.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen for security clearance.
• Minimum 5 years as QC Manager or in related roles on similar projects including major trades.
• Current USACE Construction Quality Control for Contractors certification.
• Proficient with the Three Phases of Control Quality Management System used by USACE and others.
• Training in and experience with USACE RMS 3.0.
• Experience with submittal management.
• Familiar with EM 385-1-1 requirements and safety/sustainability aspects.
• Ability to read and understand contract drawings and specifications.
• ACI Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze project data to support quality decisions.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure timely daily reports.
• Lead submittal management and quality meetings.
• Review contract documents, safety plans, and quality plans for compliance.
• Drive continuous process improvement to enhance project quality and reduce waste.
• Ensure testing personnel and lab compliance are available.
• Maintain Non-Conformance Logs and report trends.
• Lead the preparation of technical submittals with the project team.
